Biblical Notes, Study, and Commentary
The Infallible Word of God; The Bible
The Bible is the absolute most important book you can and ever will read, especially for the Christian. And, being the most important document of all time, it will be the main focus of this site!
Now, of course, the site won’t be entirely made up of quotes from scripture, but will be entirely focused on interpreting, learning, and teaching it. I may post links to sermons, songs, or books and other blogs, but the most often occurrence will be my notes, thoughts, and explanations of Biblical passages. So, it will be mostly my words.
Hence the name; A Grain of Salt
Take this blog with a grain of salt, please.
While I’m (mostly) confident that I won’t spew blatant heresies on a bad day, anything that isn’t in quotes with a reference is just what I have to say. I’ll do my best to proofread and back up everything I say with (in context) scripture, some mistakes may slip through.
So I urge you, read the Word on your own as well, and if something looks off in my words, or even if it looks correct, check it with His Word.

It can get a little salty though, I must admit…

This chapter is, mostly, summarizing Paul and his companions’ longing for the church at Thessalonica, and sending Timothy to check up on them. I think a…
1 Thessalonians 2 – Glory be to God
Happy Resurrection Day! Rejoice, if you are saved! If you are not, repent! Turn to the Risen King! Please read through the chapter before reading my notes. Paul, Silas and Timothy came to Thessolanica humbly, but powerfully with God’s Word. With the Gospel. They didn’t do it to please the people there, but to please…
If you (assuming anyone is reading) have suggestions for sections of scripture for me to read through and write a post on, please let me know in the comments section!
